About Us
The Friends of the Morristown Centennial Library reconvened in 2018 under the guidance of current Friends president and longtime library volunteer Donna Merriam. This group, in cooperation with the staff and trustees, is dedicated to promoting awareness of the library, supporting the library via fundraising, volunteering where needed and sponsoring programming. Little Libraries In the summer of 2022, the Friends errected their first Little Library at the graded school playground. They are in the process of building several more that wil be installed at various locations around town. Author Talks The Friends help support the Library by bringing local authors to Morrisville, including Archer Mayor and our new Zoom Author Talks. Plant Sale Each June, the Friends hold their annual fundraiser, a plant sale on the library grounds. |
